The Estate Planning Council of the Emerald Coast, Inc. (EPCEC) was formed in August 2004 by Jason E. Havens of Destin-based Havens & Miller, P.L.L.C; Deanna Muldowney and Pamela Weathers, both CPAs of Destin-based Carr, Riggs & Ingram, LLC; and David E. Barton, CLU of the Destin office of the Northwestern Mutual Financial Network. The EPCEC includes members from all estate planning disciplines: attorneys, CPAs, life insurance professionals, trust officers, charitable planning professionals, and financial professionals. The EPCEC’s members include estate planning professionals from Okaloosa, Walton, Bay, and Gulf counties. The EPCEC is based in Destin, Florida, which has become the central “gem” of the Emerald Coast.
Affiliation
The EPCEC is affiliated with the National Association of Estate Planners and Councils (NAEPC), which is “a national organization of professional estate planners and affiliated Estate Planning Councils focused on establishing and monitoring the highest professional and educational standards.”
